Plumbed, originally Peninsula Plumbing Clearance Centre, is a second-generation family business that has been serving homeowners, renovators, and tradespeople on the Mornington Peninsula and across Greater Melbourne since November 2004. Locally owned and operated in Carrum Downs, VIC.
Our story
Founded by husband and wife team Herman and Sherry Van De Beek, Plumbed opened its doors in Carrum Downs with a clear focus: great value bathroom products for the home renovator with a budget in mind. Starting with a wide range of tapware, vanities, shower bases and screens, baths and more, the store was built around what you actually need when updating a bathroom, laundry or kitchen.

Over the years you may well have met some of the extended Van De Beek family — they've all worked in the store at various points. More recently, Andrew Van De Beek (Herman and Sherry's son) and his business partner Dan Fairbairn took over the business, allowing Herman and Sherry to enjoy a well-earned retirement.
Under Andrew and Dan's leadership, Plumbed has grown to serve both the DIY renovator and the trade customer. That's led to a focus on personal service, a strong understanding of the products we stock, and a fast turnaround on orders — no waiting weeks or months.
Our showroom
Having built strong relationships with our suppliers, the Plumbed showroom in Carrum Downs is one of Victoria's largest, with over 1,000 products on display. You can see real tapware, styled vanity setups, working showers, and full bathroom displays before you buy — not just a catalogue on a wall.
We're open Monday to Friday 8AM–5PM and Saturday 10AM–4PM. No appointment needed, just come in.
